Sheetz Z Cards are in!
We have denominations of $25, $50 & $100. CCS earns 3% from the selling of these cards. You can use them right at the gas pump or inside the store. Everyone needs gasoline for their vehicles, right? This is the easiest fundraiser we've ever done. There's no extra cost to you. You buy a $25 Sheetz card, you spend a $25 Sheetz card. It's that easy. They make great gifts, too. We have them for sale in the school office. Stop by and get one today!
We have a new item on our lunch menu starting in October. The last Friday of each month from October - December will be a Pizza Lunch Fundraiser for the school. The lunch proceeds for that day will go directly to our school. You'll receive two slices of cheese pizza for the standard lunch price of $3.50. (Student's that have qualified for free/reduced lunch should follow normal procedures for turning in their lunch orders.) Hopefully everyone will order lunch on those days to help support our school.
K-8 North Carolina Public School of Choice
Crosscreek Charter School inspires academic excellence by empowering each student to reach his/her fullest potential as a lifelong learner. In order to best respond to each child's unique learning style, the school offers an educational experience based on well-researched innovative methods. Educators, students and parents work together to create a nurturing, child-based learning environment to develop the whole child as a responsible, compassionate member of both the school and its surrounding community.
Crosscreek is a community based school dedicated to providing the best educational experience to all children of Franklin County and surrounding areas. Low student-teacher ratios, small overall school size and active family participation allow faculty, parents and students to create a feeling of community for children of different races, religions, socio-economic backgrounds and academic abilities. The school community is also supported and enhanced by our larger Franklin County community.
About Our School
Our school opened in August of 2001. The vision of this school's child-centered and family-oriented learning community began with a group of parents in Franklin County who dreamed of a school for their children where "every child could be empowered to reach their potential as a lifelong learner." Today our facility, staff, and parents continue to provide academic and social activities that allow children to find and practice their individuality. Like any school, we constantly seek ways to grow and continue to learn with our students how best to create a school that is innovative and enriching in its practice. Through this site, we want to share our ideas, our hopes and our vision with you.
